Memoir: Topic- My last few days in Jacksonville Florida. In this Memoir I tried to figure out the emotions and movements I made during the time of the event. While writing this piece I learned that using things you visualize in your head and jot down can make the whole paper more vivid and alluring. The Scarlet Letter Essay: Topic- Stereotyping a possible theme/ Stereotyping over the ages. In this piece I tried to figure out why stereotyping was presented so much through-out the play and how. I learned many different things in this eassy. Things such as perspective and motive took a huge part in this essay. Between the two there was similarities and differences. The similarities is the stereotyping idea that goes throughout the Scarlet Letter and is what i took on when first attending hanna. My most helpful things learned are, 1. How Puritan society is lived. 2. How symbolism can be used to promotes visualisation. 3.How to write with great discription.
Part:2
In both the pieces I revised mostly where it's to many of my thoughts and put insight from the book or imformation about the transition from the city and the country. I also revised to meet the requirements for the assignment such as putting the authors name. Transitions and example addition played a huge role in the revisions I made to my pieces. Besides all that I changed any misspelled words and grammar changes needed.
Part: 3
There is a few things I learned while reading everybody else's portfolio. Things such of new words, I looked up the meaning to. I also learned there is extreme diversity of opinons in this class though it doesn't seem it from afar. I also learned how to use brushstrokes, and how to right with more depth and discription.

Kelly,
I really liked Part I because you were so specific. In reflecting on your revisions, and what you learned from others, I would like to see you bring in the specific examples to support your observations.
